The students of department of CSE have excellent record of performance in different national & international programming contests such as: NCPC (National Computer Programming Contest) & contests organized by other universities of Bangladesh. Our students also rank highly in contests held at websites, such as: Topcoder, Valladolid Online Contest.
December 10, 2007 - BUET becomes Champion in ACM ICPC Dhaka Site 2007
BUET Team ranked 1st in ACM ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) Dhaka Site 2007. The contest was held in BCFCC on December 8, 2007. BUET Team has qualified for the World Final 2008 at Alberta, Canada in April 2008.
July 21, 2007 - BUET Excels in DIPC 2007 Programming Contest
A nationwide programming contest has been organized by Daffodil International University on July 19-20, 2007. A total of 63 teams from 30 universities have participated in the contest. Once again BUET teams have shown their excellence in programming skill in the contest. BUET teams ranked 1st, 2nd , 3rd, 8th and 14th.
March 20, 2007 - BUET at the ACM ICPC World Finals 2007
It has been a great honor for BUET to qualify for ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Finals for the 10th time in a row. "BUET xC33d" programming team qualified as one of the 88 teams out of over 6,000 teams competing worldwide to participate in the ACM ICPC World Finals 2007 in Tokyo, Japan.
