The workshop intends to discuss various aspects of using data analytic techniques to derive value from data, particularly in the area of health and wellness. Data is supposed to be one of the main output of digitization of any operational entity and thus has value when collected and analyzed at large. The workshop intends to explore possibilities and opportunities of health data analytics in Bangladesh and hosts a discussion on how data collection and analysis (with related techniques and technologies) can help in healthcare, health service delivery, planning, public health or so on. Participants are expected from academia (students, faculties, researchers), Government, health/medical institutions and local software companies.
The workshop is a part of an on-going effort that CSE department, BUET is undertaking under HEQEP project (sub-project CP 3137) under UGC. Standard daily allowance will be provided to the participants.
