CSE Student wins Best Paper Award:

The paper "A New Web Cache Replacement Algorithm" by Anupam Bhattacharjee (Student, Level 4 Term 1, Department of CSE, BUET) and Biplob Kumar Debnath (Former Lecturer, Department of CSE, BUET and currently Graduate Student, Department of CSE, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, USA) won the best paper award in The 8th International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT) 2005 held at Islamic University of Technology, Dhaka. A total of 807 papers from 17 countries and 151 institutes/organizations were submitted in 25 categories. The acceptance rate was 30.73%. Anupam and Biplob's paper went through several difficult stages to be selected as the best one. It is to be noted that BUET was the institute with the maximum number of paper accepted (40).
