CSE Students selected for IT Entrepreneurship Development Program:

Imranul Hoque and Sonia Jahid, two Level 4 Term 2 Students of Department of CSE, BUET have successfully exhibited their project "TeleTone" in the BASIS SoftExpo 2004 held from November 25 to 29, 2004 at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Hall, Dhaka. Their project was selected by Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) along with 10 other projects under the IT Entrepreneurship Development Program (ITEDP) following a countrywide competition. The Entrepreneurship Development Program was sponsored by SouthAsia Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF) in association with International Finance Corporation (IFC). More than 120 organizations including 20 foreign IT companies participated in the five day-long mega exposition.
