The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), BUET, is proud to congratulate Mumtahina Ambrin (Level 2, Term 2) on securing the 1st Place Global Award at the Emerging Technologies Olympiad Conference held in Hong Kong.

Competing as a solo participant under Team Hopium, Mumtahina represented Bangladesh in the international round after winning the Gold Award at the Bangladesh Blockchain and AI Olympiad 2026, organized by the ICT Division of the Government of Bangladesh.

Her success among global finalists in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Quantum Computing is a source of great pride for the department, the university, and the nation.
